Itsy Bitsy Notecard- Blooms and Butterflies Color Challenge 6

BB color chal 6

The colors for this challenge are Wisteria Wonder. Soft Sky and Sahara Sand.  Please visit for more ideas from this color challenge!

I have not purchased Sahara Sand yet so I had to substitute for Crumb cake.  I think this color combination is totally versatile for either color from the neutrals collection!  Give it a try!

I love making little notecards for gifts!   It adds just a little more to a gift then just a gift tag!

To make this type of card you will need a 7 1/2 x 3 piece of Whisper White CS, scored at the 2 and 5 inch marks.  I took a pc of scrap Crumb Cake and it measured 1 3/4 x 2 3/4, stamped a background with one of the Mixed Bunch stamps with all 3 colors and on the Flap of the envelope.  I used the stamp off method for the background to have a more subtle look then true ink.  Then took a strip of Wisteria Wonder. used the scallop Punch, and also punched the Whisper White strip too, both 3 inches long.   Then using the stampin write markers I colored my Caterpillar in of the Bug Me stamp set and stamped him in the middle of my strip of white CS.  I finished off the sentiment using the Petite Pairs stamp set with” Welcome Baby”!  I punched out a 7/8 Scalloped Circle punch and Itty Bitty flower  shape punch then a rhinestone for the center.  I used the stampin dimensionals on only half of the scalloped circle  to enclose the top half of the card.  Snug as a bug and so cute!
